March 30, by City staff to perform minor work on the drinking fountain located near the basketball courts. After completion of the work, the employee forgot to turn the water back on. The water was turned on to the drinking fountains on Thursday, April 4, and both fountains are in proper working order. The employee has been counseled about the incident and instructed to follow up on all aspects related to work being performed. PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT: Staff contacted Hanson Associates, Inc., the company the playground equipment was purchased from, for information relative to what age children the equipment was designed for use. Staff was informed the playground equipment is a modified version of Plan 48 GR and designed for children aged 4 or 5 through the sixth grade (ages 11 or 12). As a mitigation measure to prevent potential future concerns, staff is researching the possibility of posting age groap signs at each play area throughout all our parks. 799 Moorpark Avenue Moorpark, California 93021 (805) 529 -6864
