Background
Planned Development Permit No. 8c, approved by the County of
Ventura on April 19, 1 979 for a 2- 875 sq ft. neighborhood shopping
center (Varsity Park Plaza). On N.)vembei 7, 1990 the City Council
adopted Resolution 90 -717, approving„ Major Modification No. 1 for the
construction of two free standing bui10 ngs tot�iiling 3,300 sq. ft.

RESOLUTION NO. 0 -717
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ( _'OUNCIL, CITY OF MOORPARK,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANNEI) DEVELOPMENT PERMIT NO. 897
MAJOR MODIFICATION NO. 1 ON THE APPLICATION OF GEORGE
SHAKIBAM
Whereas, at a duly notic. :,ed public hearing on October 17,
1990, the City Council considered the application filed by George
Shakibam requesting, approval to 4.�xpand an existing neighborhood
shopping center by adding two free standing buildings approximately
3,300 sq. ft. each in size in th northeast quadrants of the 3.1
acre site.
Whereas, the City Council after review and consideration
of the information contained withi-n the Planning Commission staff
Report dated September 17, 1990, the City Council Staff Report
dated October 3, 1990, and in they Mitigated Negative Declaration
has found that the subject project, will not have a significant
effect on the environment; and the City Council has reached its
decision in the matter; and
Whereas on October 17, .990, the City Council opened the
public hearing, took testimony from those wishing to testify and
closed the public hearing; and
Whereas, on October 17
the Major Modification with the
changes to the Conditions of appr°
resolution.

in Exhibit A.
Section 4. That at it:s meeting of October 17, 1990,
the City Council directed staff to prepare a resolution for
presentation at the next regular in« et ing to be held on November 7,
1990.
