SUBJECT: Disaster Action T "7�am Request for Meeting Space
The Disaster Action Team (DAT) s a group of Moorpark residents
trained by the American Red Crass to respond to disasters and
provide food, clothing, and -shelter to displaced victims.
Currently, the group has nineteen trained members and is looking to
increase its rank to at least, thirty member. Recently, the DAT

The DAT meets on the second Monda, of each month for approximately
one hour at the Sheriff's substation. Team leader Diana Grace
hopes to increase participation try holding the meetings in town.

and two members of the Disaster -. inciI have indicated an interest
in joining the DAT.
Staff Recommendation
Direct staff to work with the Disaster Action Team so that meeting
space is provided without charge a - d that no additional direct City
costs are incurred.
