Within the various capital improvements at each park, a children's play area has been budgeted for development. Additionally, funds have also been budgeted to purchase play equipment at Campus ($7,800), Campus Canyon ($1,000), and Griffin Parks ($5,000). Funds were appropriated for play equipment at Glenwood Park in the amount of $5,000 in the FY 1990/91 budget but were inadvertently not rebudgeted in the current budget. The play areas at Campus, Glenwood and Griffin Parks are under construction and will be completed around the first week in October. The play area at Campus Canyon Park is existing. The play equipment to be added can be installed immediately. Attached are copies of each of the play areas being constructed at Campus, Glenwood and Griffin Parks.
