CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Parvin called the meeting to order at 7:26 p.m. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Jeremy Laurentowski, Parks and Recreation Director, led the Pledge of Allegiance. 3. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Van Dam, and Mayor Parvin. Absent: Councilmember Pollock. Staff Present: Steven Kueny, City Manager; Deborah Traffenstedt, Deputy City Manager; David Bobardt, Community Development Director; Jeremy Laurentowski, Parks and Recreation Director; Joseph Vacca, Principal Planner; Captain Steven Wade, Police Department; and Maureen Benson, City Clerk. 4. PROCLAMATIONS AND COMMENDATIONS: A. Proclamation Recognizing the 25th Anniversary of the Kiwanis Club of Moorpark. Mayor Parvin presented incoming Kiwanis President, Ute Van Dam, with a proclamation recognizing the 25th Anniversary of the Kiwanis Club of Moorpark. 5. CONSENT CALENDAR: (ROLL CALL VOTE REQUIRED) MOTION: Councilmember Mikos moved and Councilmember Van Dam seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by roll call vote 4-0, Councilmember Pollock absent. A. Consider Additional Professional Services Regarding Grimes Rock Mining Facility Expansion Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and Authorize the City Manager to Execute Retainer Agreement. Staff Recommendation: Approve the increase in compensation by $29,250.00 with a new, not-to-exceed amount of $74,027.80 and authorize the City Manager to execute the retainer agreement for professional services, subject to final language approval of the City Manager. B. Consider Agreement with Away We Grow Preschool, LLC, for Contract Instructor Services at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center and Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Agreement. Staff Recommendation: Approve the Agreement and authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement. C. Consider Plans and Specifications and Authorization to Advertise for Construction Bids to Replace the Security Lights at Poindexter Park, Campus Park, and the Moorpark Police Services Center (Project 7801, 7805, 2005). Staff Recommendation: Approve the plans and specifications for the subject project, and authorize staff to advertise for construction bids. 7. CLOSED SESSION: None was held. 8. ADJOURNMENT: MOTION: Mayor Parvin moved and Councilmember Millhouse seconded a motion to adjourn. The motion carried by voice vote 4-0, Councilmember Pollock absent. The time was 7:32 p.m. Janice S.
