TRACT 3306 (GLENHAVEN) - EXONERATION OF BONDS AND
ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
RECOMMENDATIONS
Tract 3306 is located on the we,.t side of Peach Hill Road in the
City of Moorpark. A vicinity n,!;) is enclosed for your reference.
On June 7, 1983, the Ventura County Board of Supervisors approved
the final map for this tract and entered into an agreement with
Morvent Corporation for the con itruction of public improvements.
In May, 1986 the subject tr<::-,t was purchased by Glenhaven.
Glenhaven is now requesting exon, ration of the bonds and acceptance
of public improvements for Trac, 3 F.
Final inspection of the develoinert i-3 complete and all public
improvements have been complet,.
Accordingly, it is now app: -)priate to accept the public
improvements and reduce and excr ral e the Surety Bonds as shown in
the table below:

The grading bond and performace and payment bond for this
development will remain in full )rce and effect for the one year
guarantee period at the reduced .c- aunt from the date of acceptance.
These bonds will automatically L exonerated after this one year
guarantee period without further ction from the City Council. Per
the Subdivision Ordinance and ith this acceptance of public
improvements, the Labor and Mater al bond for the development will
remain in full force and effect )r nine months, at which time it
will automatically be exonerat=e i w i t hot:•: further action from the
City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Accept the public improveme —.s vithin Tract 3306.
Include all streets in the c' y ,Street system for maintenance.
Authorize the City Clerk to educe the above mentioned grading
bond to $10,000 immediatel- with `:ond exoneration effective
January 3, 1991.
Authorize the City Clerk e reduce the above mentioned
performance and payment bond o ;20,300 immediately, with bond
exoneration effective Jams,: >, 1191.
Authorize the City Clerk -2 <onerate the above mentioned
monument bond immediately.
