Attached is survey - related information concerning the northeast corner of
Spring Road and Los Angeles Avenue provided by Steve Anderson. Please
review and determine if this information may be helpful for Topa's required
installation of the sidewalk on Spring Road.
Please provide whatever information is relevant to Topa.

In response to Councilmeml„ Brown Assistant City Engineer John
Knipe advised that the r- nburseme,lt before the Council is for
the storm drain in Spring Roi,i, t- he reimbursed from the Los
Angeles Avenue A.O.C. fund!
By consensus, the Council ecogniz"d Paul Gienger of Topa, who
responded to concerns expr,•ssed by Councilmember Brown, advising
the Council that Topa has Posted $15,000 with the City to secure
performance regarding the installation and /or replacement of
sidewalks at the north--!as corner of Spring Road and New Los
Angeles Avenue. Currently, Fopa is negotiating with the property
owners across the street f )m the Plaza for the installation of
sidewalks rather than lnrin ing the option to replace their own
sidewalks in the Plaza. I n ned !his project is moving along
as quickly as possible.

Regarding the Moorpark Avenue 1 vemQnt - -•verlay between High Street and
Poindexter, Councilmember Pei. _> tequested that the City Engineer
contact Cn1Lrans about wideriu) the street. since currently pedestrians
must: go into traffic in order I (r )sn the street.
In response, to Councilmember ht wn, Assistant City Engineer John Knipe
advised that he was aware that he work being done on Highway 118 near
the Spring Road i.ntersecLio•t , ; being performed at night. Caltrans
had st.i.pulnted tc Tops (the de•, lopar Wing the work) that the work in
the intersection must be nccorl Qh-d d,ring the night.
Councilmember Brown directed nt the City Engineer check into the
sign posted at Spring and High, v 118 tint allows "11" turns because it
