BACKGROUND
On June 21, 1989, the City Conn-

generally described as follows:

DISCUSSION
A. Additional Work
The City is working with Urhari West. in efforts to proceed with the
first phase of the construction -)f. Arroyo Vista Community Park -- the
construction of the Community U,.e Building. In that. effort, the City
is obligated to provide the bit i n„ pool. Topogrnphic surveying and

termination.
III. General Conditions
A. City shall not be c.Iled upon to assume any liability for
the direct paymer of any salary, wage or other
compensation to and p- c•son employed by Pacific Western
performing services ^r e rude, for City.
B. Pacific Western is a -d shall at all times remain as to the
City a wholly indepe, dent contractor. Neither the City nor
any of its officers, employees, servants or agents shall
control over the nd!ict of Pacific Western or any of
Pacific Western )f(i Fir emr- loyees or agents, except as
herein set forth.
