The claimant indicates that she was drLving west on Tierra Rejada Road preparing to make a right turn onto Spring Road when her vehicle left the road resulting in cutting the tire on her vehicle and knocking tier 4hee.ls out of alignment due to the rough shoulder. Mr. Stanford, while playing softball, slipped when rounding first base and fell on his wrist. He filed a claim with the City of Moorpark indicating that he thought the City carried additional insurance for rostered players. He was informed that this is not the case, however his claim is on file and must be processed. Our insurance adjusters, Care Warren & Co., have reviewed this claim and have recommended that the Council reject the claim. RECOMMENDATION Reject the claim of Michael Stanford and direct staff to notify the claimant. HARE City Treasurer The City has received a claim filed by Lori Jordane relating to an event occurring December 7, 1989. The claimant has indicated that while drivincl southbound in the number one lane on Campus Park Drive, approximately 150 feet from College View Avenue, that she drove her vehicle onto loose gravel and dirt and slid in a southwest direction resulting in her front left wheel and frame of her vehicle hitting the solid cement center di-•ider. She claims that the collision with the center divider resulted in damage to her front wheel drive and undercarriage, in �dditiorF to bending the frame of her vehicle.
