DISCUSSION: In researching the above -referenced equipment, NEC equipment was highly recommended because of its overall quality. Staff solicited bids on the following NEC equipment. 27" Stereo TV, Model CT-2762S S•-VHS Digital Hi-Fi VCR, Model 0580000 Bids were solicited from nine firms with three being received: TV VCI? Staff is recommending a self-contained storage cart be purchased (information attached). The unit recommended for purchase has two adjustable shelves, drop shelf to provide extra surface area and locking doors. An electrical assembly will allow us to plug the equipment in at the cabinet and not run several electrical cords across the floor. The storage cart can be purchased in metal or wood.
