CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Lawrason called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. 2. CALL TO ORDER: Present: Councilmembers Brawn, Harper, Montgomery, Perez and Mayor Lawrason. Cit i Clerk. 4. PUBLIC COMMENTS: A. Mr. Jim Hartley, 5950 Gabbert, stated he was not in favor of each individual Councilmember having control over their nomination to the commi ions 5. ORDINANCES: A. Further Council consideration of possible amendments to Ordinance No. 33, an__ordinance relatin- to commissions. Councilmember Lane suygest.ed commissions be removed by a majority vote of the Council, rather than at the pleasure of his or her nominating Counc'lmember. He also suggested that a total of six absences in a ca "pndar year without prior approval should be grounds for the comm sicnPr' removal from office. Councilmember Ferguson tated each Councilmember has the right to make a nomination, r)ut the full Council has to make the appointment.
