This item was previously considered by Council and referred to Council
committee members, Mrs. Brown and Mr. Perez. Council committee has met
with City staff and drafted Its final changes which are now presented
to the full Council for consideratior
DISCUSSION:
At prior Council meetings, the Council approved the following items
related to rental of the Comm =jn , 'entet

SECTION 3 - RENTAL CANCELLATION

SECTION 11 - ROOM ASSIGNMENTS
The Community Services ,ta wil issign rooms to applicants in
accordance with the policies (--c,r i ,i -1 w tlh i n this manual and the needs
of the applicant as set forth �ii ration.
SECTION 12 - APPROVAL OF APPL CA ON:
The Community Services 1iir- ti)r ,r his designated representative
wi11 have the authority to appr -r :e appl; at ions in accordance with the
policies contained herein.
SECTION 13 - LIABILITY:

SECTION 31 - SECURITY:
To ensure proper use and ontrol of facilities and equipment,
security guards shall be required under the following conditions:

A minimum of two (2) security gu,irds shall be provided unless otherwise
determined by the City Manager 1), his designated representative.

The applicant shall pay for all costs related fn nrnviAinn
security guards to the security company in advance of the event. A
copy of the security guard contract and proof of payment shall be
provided to the Moorpark Community Svrvices Department no less than ten
(10) calendar days prior to the cheduled event. Failure to do so will
constitute cancellation of event and forfeiture of rental fees
previously paid. This cost is i addition to any other facility user
fees and deposits.
