This presents for approval the Notice of Completion for the
subject project.
DISCUSSION
A. Background
Last August the City Council awarded a contract to construct
a sidewalk on the west side of Spring Road between Los
Angeles Avenue and Roberts Avenue.
B. Final Inspection and Acceptance
The Director of Public Works has completed a final inspection
of the subject improvements. All of the requirements of the
project plans and the Caltrans Encroachment Permit have been
met. At this time it would be appropriate for the City
Council to accept the work as completed, direct the City
Clerk to file a Notice of Completion and authorize release of
the retention.
