SUBJECT: Franchise Extension Ventura County Cablevision
In view of the continuing negotiations between the City of
Moorpark and Ventura County Cablevision (VCC) with respect to the

This extension, until February 7, 1991, will provide an
opportunity for the City's representatives and representatives of
VCC to further discuss the franchise agreement and the enabling
ordinance. A meeting of the ad hoc Council Cable Franchise
Committee, consisting of Councilmember Brown and Mayor Pro Tem
Montgomery, was held in October and a final draft of the
franchise agreement and ordinance was completed. These documents
are currently being reviewed dry VCC.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Approve Resolution No. 90- extending the franchise
agreement with Ventura County ('able vasion until February 7, 1991.
