This request is to relocate a lot line between parcels in the northwest portion of the City of Moorpark, at 1"855 Darlene Lane. The Assessor's Parcels are 511 -0 -010 -225 and 51 ' -0 -010 -425. This request is to relocate the com non property line which separates the Applicants parcel (22) from the property owned by Sam and Alice Asadurian (42). Currently the property line separating the two lots is located directly underneath the applicants house. This situation was created by an incorrect survey at the time when the applicants house was constructed. This Lot Line Adjustment well bring both parcels into compliance with the Zoning Code by moving the property line far enough west to create a five foot setback egLlrec by the code. No new lots are being cre.ited, and both parcels currently meet the one acre minimum size required bM the underlying zoning. Both parcels will continue to meet this requiremert after the Lot Line Adjustment is recorded. All required legal documen < have peen reviewed and approved by the City Engineer. The Community Development Department has reviewed the request and determined that it meets all applicable Codes and Resolutions. The Director of Community Development intends to approve the Lot Line Adjustment. Pursuant to Resolution 88 -523 the Director has the authority to approve Lot Line Adjustments. T' is matter is being presented to the council as information only. In the event the Council wishes to appeal the Director's decision, it may do so. SI' uld the Council desire to appeal, it should set a public hearing date. If he Council takes no action then the Director's decision stands.
