SUBJECT: Acceptance of Grant Deed for PD-1064 (Topa)
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
PD-1064 is located at the southwest corner of Los Angeles
Avenue and Spring Road. A location map is attached for your
reference.
On January 20, 1988, the City Council approved the above
project for construction of a commercial building. As a
condition of approval, the developer was required to
dedicate to the City of Moorpark the necessary right-of-way
for street improvements at the northeast intersection of Los
Angeles Avenue and Spring Road.
The original grant deed for the dedication of the northeast
corner of Los Angeles Avenue and Spring Road is on file in
the office of the City Clerk and a copy of this grant deed
is enclosed with this report. It is now appropriate for the
City Council to accept this offer of right-of-way.
RECOMMENDED ACTION
Authorize the City Clerk, on behalf of the City, to execute
a "Certificate of Acceptance" for the right-of-way at the
northeast intersection of Los Angeles Avenue and Spring
Road.

as shown on the map recorded in Book 5, Page 5, of
Miscellaneous Records, in the Office of the County Recorder
of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Los
Angeles Avenue, and the centerline of Spring Street, as
shown on the map recorded in Book 20, Page 56 of Parcel
Maps, in said Recorder's Office; thence, along the
centerline of said Spring Street, North 0°29 '08" East
193 . 63 feet; thence at right angles, South 89 ° 30152" East
54 . 00 feet to a point on the easterly line of said Spring
Street, 84 . 00 feet wide, as described in Parcel A of the
deed recorded November 15, 1974 as Document No. 76412 in
