SUBJECT: Acceptance of Improvements and Exoneration of
Bonds for Tract 4170/3070-5 (U.S. Condo)
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Tract No. 4170/3070-5 is located in the Campus Park area in
the City. A location map is enclosed for reference.
On November 16, 1983, the City Council approved and ratified
the project as originally approved by the County of Ventura
(Tract 3070-5) . On August 16, 1986, the City Council
approved a revised final map and entered into an agreement
with U.S. Condo for the construction of public improvements
(Tract 4170) .
All public improvements within this tract have been
completed to our satisfaction. Accordingly, it is now
appropriate to accept all the public improvements and
exonerate the following bonds:

Payment
All Labor and Material Bonds for the subject tract will
remain in full force and effect for nine months, at which
time they will be automatically exonerated without further
action by the City Council.

The grading bond for Tract 4170 (Bond Number 106787 issued
by Developers Insurance Company) will remain in full force
and effect for one year following exonerations.
RECOMMENDED ACTIONS
- Accept the public improvements within Tract 4170.
- Include all streets in the City street system for
maintenance.
- Authorized the City Clerk to exonerate the above-mentioned
Performance and Payment Bonds.
- Authorize the City Clerk to exonerate the Grading Bond
effective November 16, 1989.
