CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Parvin called the meeting to order at 7:18 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Pollock, Van Dam, and Mayor Parvin. Staff Present: Steven Kueny, City Manager; Deborah Traffenstedt, Deputy City Manager; and Scott Tiedemann, Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (via conference call). 3. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 4. REORDERING OF, AND ADDITIONS TO, THE AGENDA: None. 5. PRESENTATION/ACTION/DISCUSSION: A. Consider an Agreement between the City of Moorpark and Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (LCW) for Legal Services. Staff Recommendation: Approve an Agreement between the City and LCW, subject to final language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney. Ms. Traffenstedt gave the staff report. There were no speakers. MOTION: Councilmember Millhouse moved and Councilmember Pollock seconded a motion to approve an Agreement between the City of Moorpark and Liebert Cassidy Whitmore for legal services, subject to final language approval by the City Manager and City Attorney. CLOSED SESSION: Mr. Kueny requested the Council adjourn to closed session for discussion of one case under Item 6.A. and for Item 6.C. on the agenda. Mr. Kueny announced that the facts and circumstances creating significant exposure to litigation consist of a written communication dated May 1, 2012, threatening litigation received from Lanny M. Tron. MOTION: Councilmember Mikos moved and Councilmember Millhouse seconded a motion to adjourn to closed session for discussion of one case under Item 6.A. and for Item 6.C. on the agenda. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. The time was 7:19 p.m. A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Subdivision (b) of Section 54956.9 of the Government Code: (Number of cases to be discussed - 4) C. PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT (Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957) Title: City Attorney Present in closed session were Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Pollock, Van Dam, and Mayor Parvin; Steven Kueny, City Manager; Deborah Traffenstedt, Deputy City Manager; and Scott Tiedemann, Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. Mr. Tiedemann left the meeting at 7:58 p.m. The Council reconvened into open session at 8:20 p.m. Mr. Kueny stated one case under Item 6.A. and Item 6.C. on the agenda were discussed and there was no action to report. 8.
