MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
Moorpark California November 28, 2012
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was held on November
28, 2012, in the Community Center of said City located at 799 Moorpark Avenue,
Moorpark, California.
1 . CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Parvin called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Pollock, Van Dam, and
Mayor Parvin.
Staff Present: Steven Kueny, City Manager.
3. PUBLIC COMMENT:
None.
4. REORDERING OF, AND ADDITIONS TO, THE AGENDA:
None.
5. PRESENTATION/ACTION/DISCUSSION:
A. Consider Recruitment for the Parks and Recreation Commission. Staff
Recommendation: Direct staff as deemed appropriate.
Mr. Kueny gave the staff report.
There were no speakers.
MOTION: Councilmember Mikos moved and Councilmember Millhouse
seconded a motion to direct staff to initiate recruitment for the Parks and
Recreation Commission beginning November 29 and ending at 5:00 p.m. on
December 14, 2012 with the specification that the applicant interviews would be
scheduled for the regular City Council meeting of January 16, 2013. The motion
carried by unanimous voice vote.
6. CLOSED SESSION:
Mr. Kueny requested the Council go into closed session for discussion of Item
6.C. on the agenda.

MOTION: Councilmember Mikos moved and Mayor Parvin seconded a motion to
go into closed session for discussion of Item 6.C. on the agenda. The motion
carried by unanimous voice vote.
C. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
(Pursuant to Subdivision (b) of Section 54957 of the Government Code)
Title: City Manager.
Present in closed session were Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Pollock, Van
Dam, and Mayor Parvin; and Steven Kueny, City Manager.
The Council reconvened into open session at 8:23 p.m. Mr. Kueny stated Item
6.C. was discussed and there was no action to report.
8. ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor Parvin adjourned the meeting at 8:23 p.m.
