Moorpark, California April 20, 2016
A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was held on April 20,
2016, in the Community Center of said City located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark,
California.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Parvin called the meeting to order at 6:25 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
Present: Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Pollock, Van Dam, and
Mayor Parvin.
Staff Present: Steven Kueny, City Manager; Kevin Ennis, City Attorney;
Alison Krumbein, Sohagi Law Group (via conference call);
Deborah Traffenstedt, Assistant City Manager; David
Bobardt, Community Development Director; Sean Corrigan,
City Engineer/Public Works Director; and Jessica Sandifer,
Program Manager (arrived at 6:49 p.m.).
3. PUBLIC COMMENT:
None.
4. REORDERING OF, AND ADDITIONS TO, THE AGENDA:
None.
5. CLOSED SESSION:
Mr. Kueny requested the Council go into closed session for discussion of one
case under Item 5.B. and for Item 5.D. on the agenda.
MOTION: Councilmember Millhouse moved and Councilmember Mikos seconded a
motion to adjourn to closed session for discussion of one case under Item 5.B. and for
Item 5.D. on the agenda. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. The time was
6:25 p.m.

City Negotiator: Steven Kueny, City Manager
Negotiating Parties: Braemon Hanes (for First Baptist Church of
Moorpark)
Under Negotiation: Price and terms of payment
Present in closed session were Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Pollock, Van
Dam, and Mayor Parvin; Steven Kueny, City Manager; Kevin Ennis, City
Attorney; Alison Krumbein, Sohagi Law Group (left the meeting at 6:52 p.m.);
Deborah Traffenstedt, Assistant City Manager; David Bobardt, Community
Development Director; Sean Corrigan, City Engineer/Public Works Director; and
Jessica Sandifer, Program Manager (arrived at 6:49 p.m.).
The Council reconvened into open session at 6:56 p.m. Mr. Ennis announced
that for Item 5.B. there was no action to report, and for Item 5.D., the City Council
had directed the City Manager to terminate escrow.
6. ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor Parvin adjourned the meeting at 6:57 p.m.
