ACTION: /[,�ri6lKit/�/ / � MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL BY: Lrii Moorpark, California July 6, 2016 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was held on July 6, 2016, in the Community Center of said City located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. 1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Parvin called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Pollock, Van Dam, and Mayor Parvin. Staff Present: Steven Kueny, City Manager; Deborah Traffenstedt, Assistant City Manager; Sean Corrigan, City Engineer/Public Works Director; and Alison Krumbein, Sohagi Law Group (via conference call). 3. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 4. REORDERING OF, AND ADDITIONS TO, THE AGENDA: None. 5. CLOSED SESSION: Mr. Kueny requested the Council go into closed session for discussion of one case under Item 5.D. on the agenda. MOTION: Councilmember Mikos moved and Councilmember Van Dam seconded a motion to adjourn to closed session for discussion of Item 5.D. on the agenda. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. The time was 6:05 p.m. D. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — EXISTING LITIGATION (Pursuant to Paragraph (1) of subdivision (d) of Government Code Section 4956.9) City of Moorpark v. County of Ventura et al. (Real Party in Interest, Wayne J. Sand & Gravel, Inc.) (Case No. 56-2016-00482408-CU-WM-VTA) Present in closed session were Councilmembers Mikos, Millhouse, Pollock, Van Dam, and Mayor Parvin; Steven Kueny, City Manager; Deborah Traffenstedt, 219 Minutes of the City Council Moorpark, California Page 2 July 6, 2016 Assistant City Manager; Sean Corrigan, City Engineer/Public Works Director; and Alison Krumbein, Sohagi Law Group. The Council reconvened into open session at 6:30 p.m. Mr. Kueny stated one case under Item 5.D. was discussed and there was no action to report. 6.
