SUBJECT: Consider Resolution No. 99- Establishing a "No
Parking - Bus Stop" Zone on Spring Road South of Charles
Street
nTgrTTgqTnN
There is a school bus stop on the east side of Spring Road between
High Street and Charles Street. Although a "Bus Stop" sign has
been posted at this location, the sign does not prohibit parking.
Such a parking restriction requires adoption of City Council
Resolution.
At times parked vehicles interfere with the proper use of this
School Bus Stop. The Moorpark Unified School District has
requested that a No Parking Zone be added at this bus stop. The
School District has agreed to pay for City costs related to the
installation of new signs.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 99-
establishing "No Parking - Bus Stop" zone on a portion of the east
side of Spring Road, south of Charles Street.
