Approval of February 1, 2017 Regular Meeting Minutes. 8. ADJOURNMENT: All writings and documents provided to the Teen Council regarding the agenda items are available for public inspection at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center public counter located at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road during regular business hours. CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. by Chair Khandelwal. 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilmember Myers. 3. ROLL CALL: Present: Caroline Gratke, Delia Hamm, Ranesha Harkness, Brandon Jimenez, Trisha Khandelwal, Jett Landis, Benjamin Myers, Nicolette Sichmeller, Daniel Vargas and Matthew Waters. Absent: Karam Barakat, Melody Espinoza, Connor Nielsen, Saima Siddiqui, Diana Spencer, and Vivek Thiyagarajan. Staff Present: Recreation Supervisor Michael Ramirez and Recreation Leader Ill Victoria Peterson. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 5. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS: A. Discuss Cupcake Challenge Councilmembers Espinoza, Hamm, Harkness, Khandelwal and Vargas committed to volunteering at the event. The Council selected Poprocks as the secret ingredient to be used in the next Challange. B. Discuss Spring Lazertag at the Library Event. Due to concerns about event safety, the Council elected to discontinue discussions regarding the proposed Spring Lazertag at the Library event. C. MOTION: Councilmember Myers moved and Chair Khandelwal seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar. The motion carried 10 - 0. 8. ADJOURNMENT: Chair Khandelwal adjourned the meeting t 5: 5 pam.
