A proposed resolution reciting the facts of the General Municipal Election held on November 8, 1988, and declaring the results and such other matters as required by law. Staff Recommendation: Approve the proposed resolution. B. Comments from Councilmembers. C. Special Presentations to Mayor John Patrick Lane and Councilmember John Galloway. D. City Clerk administers the Oath of Office to newly elected Councilmembers Paul W. Lawrason, Jr. , Scott Montgomery and Bernardo M. Perez. E. Seating of new Councilmembers. F. Comments from newly elected Councilmembers. Any member of the public may address the Council during the Public Comments portion of the Agenda, unless it is a Public Hearing item. Speakers who wish to address the Council concerning a Public Hearing item must do so during- the Public Hearing for that item. Speaker Cards must be received by the City Clerk prior to the Public Comment portion of the meeting. Speakers will be heard in the order that their Speaker Cards are received.
