BACKGROUND The Senior Center Coordinator -as been partially funded in the past through a matching gi mit provided by the Ventura County Area Agency on Aging, (VCAAA), utilizing Older Americans Act Grant Funds, T., e III, since 1991. The 1993/94 fiscal year was the as Fa.r c,f a three year funding cycle. The City applied for these grar,r fends again in April, 1994, and was notified on June 14 that the City would receive $8000 in 1994 -95, which would be usec !c) supplement the salary of the Senior Center Coordinator. -'h.i.s grant was only for one year.
