SUBJECT: Consider Authorizing Recordation of the notice of
Completion for a Project to Construct Parkwy and Median
Landscaping Improvements on Princeton Avenue and Campus
Park Drive
On February 15, 1995, the City Council awarded a contract to
Cascade Sprinklers, Inc. for the construction of the subject
project.
The scope of the subject project included the construction of
irrigation and landscaping at the following locations:
• the parkways on the east and west sides of Princeton Avenue
(except the frontage of the commercial property);
• the medians on Princeton Avenue; and,
• the parkways on the south side of Campus Park Drive from
Columbia Street to Penn Street.
The construction of this project has been completed. The
ninety day maintenance period began on May 8, 1995. It is
anticipated that the improvements will be accepted for
maintenance by the City on August 9, 1995. Final payment of
the retention will be made at that time. It is appropriate,
therefore, to proceed with the recordation of the subject
Notice of Completion for this project.
