ACTION. f2�� -[��� . - -- ..G February 3, 2006 (City Council Meeting of February 15, 2006) Consider Final Map Approval for Parcel Map No. 5567 BACKGROUND & DISCUSSION The Moorpark Redevelopment Agency ( "Agency ") purchased the property (APN 510 -0- 150 -760) at the terminus of Fitch Street for the construction of the Public Works /Parks Department Corporation Yard. The proposed Corporation Yard would not utilize the entire parcel leaving .58 acres vacant. At the Agency's April 7, 2004 meeting, the Board declared the .58 acre area to be surplus property and directed staff to create a separate parcel (Attachment 1). The Agency retained Giron Engineering to draft the parcel map. Giron Engineering completed parcel map no. 5567 and the County of Ventura, County Surveyor Division, found it to be satisfactory for the approval and signatures of city officials. The .58 acre parcel will be sold to Creative Woodworks, Inc. in accordance with the Disposition and Development Agreement dated March 12, 2005 for construction of a 9,900 square foot industrial building. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign and direct the City Clerk to cause Parcel Map 5567 to be recorded in the office of the Ventura County Recorder.
