HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES CC 2017 3615 2017 0719 RESOLUTION NO. 2017-3615 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2017/18 BUDGET TO ALLOCATE $453,632.00 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE ARROYO VISTA PAVEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT (M0032) AND LASSEN AVENUE PEDESTRIAN/BIKE LANE MAINTENANCE (LOO78) AND INCREASE REVENUE BUDGET IN COMMUNITY WIDE PARK DEVELOPMENT FUND (2010) BY $51,054.00 FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF PROJECT COST AND GENERAL FUND (1000) BY $10,210.80 FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2017-3585 allocated $50,341.00 for construction management services for the Arroyo Vista Pavement Rehabilitation Project (M0032) from the Community Wide Park Fund (2010); and WHEREAS, on June 21, 2017, the City Council adopted the Operating and Capital Improvement Projects Budget for Fiscal Year 2017/18; and WHEREAS, a staff report has been presented to the City Council requesting an aggregate expenditure budget increase of $453,632.00 for the pavement rehabilitation; $443,662.00 from the Community Wide Park Development Fund (2010) for Arroyo Vista Pavement Rehabilitation Project (M0032) and $9,970.00 from the Traffic System Management Fund (2001) for the Lassen Avenue Pedestrian/Bike Lane Maintenance (L0078); and WHEREAS, a revenue budget increase of $51,054.00 in the Community Wide Park Development Fund (2010) is also recommended to reflect the estimated reimbursement from Moorpark Unified School District for their share of the maintenance cost of the access road between Tierra Rejada Road and the entrance to Arroyo Vista Community Park and $10,210.80 in the General Fund (1000) for reimbursement of Administrative Costs; and WHEREAS, Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof, describes said budget amendment and the resultant impact to the budget line items. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOORPARK DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. An expenditure budget increase of $443,662.00 from the Community Wide Park fund (2010) and $9,970.00 from the Traffic System Management Fund (2001) as more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is hereby approved. A revenue budget increase of $51,054.00 in the Community Wide Park Development Fund (2010) and $10,210.80 in the General Fund (1000), as more particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is hereby approved. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall cause a certified resolution to be filed in the book of original Resolutions.
