MEETING OF THE MOORPARK CITY COUNCIL
TO THE MEMBERS OF THE MOORPARK CITY COUNCIL:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Moorpark is hereby called to be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006,
commencing at 6:35 p.m. Said meeting will convene in the Moorpark Community
Center located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California.
Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of considering the following:

A. Consider Resolution Confirming Resolution No. 2006 -2539 a Resolution
of the Director of Emergency Services of the City of Moorpark Proclaiming
the Existence of a Local Emergency. Staff Recommendation: Adopt
Resolution No. 2006 -2540. (Staff: Deborah Traffenstedt)
B. Consider Draft Agreement Transferring the Moorpark Library_. Staff
Recommendation: Direct staff as deemed appropriate. (Staff: Mary
Lindley)
C. Consider Joint Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Ventura and the City Council of the City of Moorpark Agreeing to the
Negotiated Exchange of Property Tax Revenues for the Transfer of
Library Service Responsibility Between the County and the Citv_. Staff
Recommendation: Direct staff as deemed appropriate. (Staff: Mary

Any member of the public may address the Council during the Public Comments portion of the Agenda,
unless it is a Public Hearing or a Presentation /Action /Discussion item. Speakers who wish to address the

I, Maureen Benson, declare as follows:
That I am the Deputy City Clerk of the City of Moorpark and that a Special Meeting of
the Moorpark City Council will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006, commencing
at 6:35 p.m. at the Moorpark Community Center, located at 799 Moorpark Avenue,
Moorpark, California. A copy of said Notice was posted on December 5, 2006, at a
conspicuous place at the Moorpark Community Center, 799 Moorpark Avenue,
Moorpark, California.
