June 26,1996 Council meeting July 2,1996 To: The Honorable Members of the City Council From: Eloise Brown___ Re: Offsite signs for High Street C, At a recent council meeting, the council approved some offsite signage for the benefit of the Farmer's Market on High Street. It is my proposal that the city erect signs, at suitable locations, informing passersby of the existence and direction to High Street. Since High Street is the older commercial area and dates from early in this century, it should be brought to the attention of tourists and residents alike. The signs should be durable and possibly similar to historic landmark signs such as one sees elsewhere in the county. I would be happy to be of any help. /'0 ' Ii r% July 30,1996 To: Honorable members of the CityCouncil from: Eloise Brown Re:Signs for High Street. - Addenda The following locations have been suggested and I forward them to the council.
