Gilbert, Director of Public Works May 24, 1993 (Council Meeting 6 -2 -93) X# SUBJECT: Consider Acceptance of Landscape Easement Deeds at the Northwest Corner of Los Angeles Avenue and Spring Road This requests acceptance and recordation of the subject easements. At the City Council meeting of May 19, 1993, the City Council approved a change in the contract for the construction of property walls along the south property lines of residences located on Sherman Avenue (north side of Los Angeles avenue between Spring Road and Millard Avenue). That approved change extends the walls to the east and north along the rear of properties at 480 Sherman (Burkhart) and 36 Harry Street (De Leon). One of the conditions of approval for this work was that landscape easements be conveyed to the City for certain areas on the street side of the wall. The subject Landscape Easement Deeds have been signed by the owners of the affected properties. It is now appropriate to have these deeds recorded.
