SUBJECT: Consider Authorizing Recordation of the Notice of
Completion for the Metrolink Station/Bard Street
Wall Project
Background
On September 22, 1993 , City Council awarded a contract for the
construction of a brick wall in the south Metrolink Station parking
lot at Bard Street. The construction of the wall has been
completed, and Council is being requested to accept the project and
authorize the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
The bid price presented by the contractor, Hi Tech Pro
Construction, was for $9, 900. Upon completion, the total cost of
the project was $9,900, which is being from the City's
Transportation Development Act Fund.
Recommendation
Staff Recommends that the City Council accept the project as
complete, instruct the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion,
and authorize the release of the ten percent retention upon
clearance of the thirty-five (35) day lien period.
