SUBJECT: Consider Approval of a Certificate of Acceptance for a
Street Easement Deed [Gisler] for Additional Right -of -Way
on Poindexter Avenue

The City is proceeding with the resurfacing of Poindexter Avenue
as a part of the Citywide Street Reconstruction project.

This Street Reconstruction Project includes the construction of
additional street improvements along certain portions of
Poindexter Avenue where full -width improvements did not exist.
These improvements will include the construction of additional
pavement width, where required, to allow for the future painting
of Class 2 Bike Lanes along the full length of Poindexter
Avenue. Said improvements will also include the construction of
curb, gutter and sidewalk on the north side of the street east
of Sierra Avenue, and along designated portions of the south
side of the street where such improvements do not now exist. A
portion of these additional improvements are located on the
property to be conveyed by the subject Easement Deed.

An Easement Deed ( Exhibit 1) for an additional ten feet (10' ) of
street right -of -way along the Gisler property, located
immediately west of Chaparral School, has been executed and
provided to the City.
Approve the Certificate of Acceptance for the subject Easement Deed
and direct the City Clerk to record said Certificate and related
Deed.

A Right of Way for Street, Highway and Public Utility purposes over a strip of land 10 feet
in width and 382.00 feet in length over that land delineated as "NOT A PART OF THIS
DIVISION" on that parcel map filed in the office of the County Recorder of Ventura
County in Book 21 of Parcel Maps at pages 34 and 35. The northerly line of said strip
of land is the same as the southerly Right of Way of Poindexter Avenue, 50 feet wide,
as per said map.
