Background 1 . On October 19, 1994, City Council authorized the recordation of the Notice of Completion for the construction of sidewalk and related concrete improvements at various locations. Included in said project was the construction of sidewalks along Roberts Avenue and Millard Street. 2 . At tonight's City Council meeting, the City Council will be considering authorizing recordation of the Notice of Completion for the Sidewalk Construction Project 95-1. Said project included the construction of sidewalks along Esther Avenue, Sherman Avenue, and a portion of Harry Street. B. Deeds Within the public right-of-way of the streets mentioned above, obstructions such as fire hydrants, wood poles, and trees are located within the sidewalk construction area. Property owners were informed of said obstructions and were asked to grant the City a sidewalk easement in order to allow the sidewalk construction to go around the existing obstruction in an area outside of the street right-of-way. Thirteen (13) Easement Deeds (Exhibit 'A' ) for the construction of five feet (5' ) wide sidewalks along the aforementioned streets, have been executed by the property owner and provided to the City. Drawings of said easements are shown on Exhibit 'B' .
