While we believe communications have vastly improved on a staff level in recent years, we feel there is room for improvement on the policymaking level. In light of this, I am scheduling presentations with all cities in our service area. I would appreciate the opportunity to address the Moorpark City Ccuncil at its February 7th meeting to provide a five minute updare on the District's efforts to bolster supply reliability, improve water quality, and minimize rate increases. A member of my Board will also attend. A Briefing Packet will be prepared, and copies provided to the City Managers' office for distribution to staff and the Council in advance of the meeting. Unfortunately, my Board meets on the first and third Wednesday of every month as does your City Council. Would it be possible to be placed early on your agenda so I may attend my Board meeting that evening? Again, I appreciate your consideration on this matter. Please feel free to either call me direct at (805) 579 -7113 or my Office Manager, Ms. Alida Inouye, at (805) 579 -7111 with any questions and to confirm my inclusion on your February 7th meeting agenda. Very truly yours, Donald R. Kendall, Ph D., P.E. General Manager
