Gilbert, Director of Public Works April 5, 1996 (Council Meeting 4- 17 -96) SUBJECT: Consider Approval of a Certificate of Acceptance for Grant Deed UWC - Moorpark Investors, Ltd. (UWC) for Property Located on the East Side of Tierra Rejada Road North of the Entry to Arroyo Vista Community Park DISCUSSION A. Location & Description of Propert The property described by the subject Grant Deed is located on the east side of Tierra Rejada Road just north of the entrance to Arroyo Vista Community Park. The property is question consists of all of the property between the park entry road and Tierra Rejada Road. This includes the landscaped parkway between the sidewalk and the block wall (Parcel 1), as well as the unimproved land located between the block wall and the park entry road (Parcel 2). B. Conveyance to City When the deeds for the park entry road and park access road were prepared and these parcels were conveyed to the City, the subject parcel remained as a residual property owned by UWC. The City has requested, and UWC has agreed, that the subject parcel be granted to the City. C. Improvements As stated above, that portion of the property west of the block wall is improved with parkway landscaping. Subsequent to the recordation of the subject deed, it is the intent of staff to construct similar landscape improvements on the east side of the wall along the park entry road.
