HomeMy WebLinkAboutAGENDA REPORT 1996 1016 CC REG ITEM 07GAGENDA REPORT CITY OF MOORPARK TO: THE HONORABLE CITY COUNCIL FROM: DIRK LOVETT, ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER (Chris Oberender, Associate Engineer) DATE: OCTOBER 4, 1996 (CC Meeting of OCTOBER d_ n lilw_ 1 SUBJECT: CONSIDER APPROVAL OF TRACT MAP 4174 (Colorer) BACKGROUND INFORMATION The subject tract map is located on the east side of Pecan Avenue approximately 750 feet north of the Campus Park Drive /Pecan Avenue intersection, in the City of Moorpark. A location map is attached for your reference (See Exhibit A). A tentative tract map was approved by the City Council on February 21, 1996. This map represents a land division of 2.19 acres into nine lots. The subdivision is for residential development purposes and has a single street (proposed name of Alyssas Court) which terminates into a cul -de -sac. The name " Alyssas Court" has been reviewed and accepted for use by the County Fire Protection District and is submitted for Council approval at this time. It is staff's opinion that the final map, as presented for approval, conforms to the approved tentative map. The conditions of approval for this map have also been satisfied. All improvement bonds, as required by the conditions of approval, have been submitted. Included in this submittal are the following items (on file in the office of the City Clerk): 1. Final Map for Tract 4174. 2. Subdivision Agreement 3. Bonds: (TRACT 4174) Tyne Amount Surety Co. Bond No. Grading $ 20,697 Insco -Dico 4233285 (Perf.) Streets $ 63,703 Insco -Dico 4233295 (Perf.) 0000,42 RECOMMENDED ACTION 1. Approve the street name of "Alyssas Court "; and 2. Approve Tract Map 4174 and the Subdivision Agreement; and 3. Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the Tract Map Title Sheets and Subdivision Agreement; and 4. Direct the City Clerk to record Tract Map 4174 and the Subdivision Agreement.
