Background: This item is presented to the City Council in compliance with City policy requiring that import /export, exceeding 10 truckloads, be approved by the City. Discussion: On June 24, 1996 the City Council approved the application of CPD 96 -1 Cimm's Inc. (Burger King) to develop the commercial property located at the southeast corner of Liberty Bell Road and Los Angeles Avenue. This plan indicated that import of 285 Cubic Yards 9f material are proposed to be transported to the site. The material will be used to bring the site to final grade. The import haul route is expected to have trucks entering the site using Los Angeles Avenue and the northern 200 feet of Liberty Bell Rd. adjacent to the project site. Trucks leaving the site will follow the same route and exit the City to the east or west. The amount of import is expected to require approximately 30 -40 truck trips to the site. An average truck volume along the haul route of 20 vehicles per day is expected. It is anticipated that this haul work will take a maximum of 1 -2 days to complete. The site will be regularly watered during this operation as required by the grading plans and permit. Approve the requested import quantity and haul route along Los Angeles Avenue with following conditions: 1. The hauling hours shall be limited between the hours of 9 A.M. and 3 P.M. Monday through Friday. 2. The haul route may be modified if approved by the City Engineer. 3. Tarpaulins shall be required on all haul vehicles to cover the load. 0000135
