Consider Minutes of Special City Council Meeting of June 11, 2018. Staff Recommendation: Approve the minutes. Item: 10.G. MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL Moorpark, California June 11, 2018 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Moorpark was held on June 11, 2018, in the Community Center of said City located at 799 Moorpark Avenue, Moorpark, California. 1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Parvin called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. 2. ROLL CALL: Present: Councilmembers Mikos, Pollock, Simons, Van Dam, and Mayor Parvin. Staff Present: Troy Brown, City Manager; Deborah Traffenstedt, Assistant City Manager; Sean Corrigan, City Engineer/Public Works Director; and Maureen Benson, City Clerk. 3. PUBLIC COMMENT: None. 4. PRESENTATION/ACTION/DISCUSSION: A. Final Approval of Parcel Map 2016-01 - 400 Science Drive. Staff Recommendation: Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the map and the City Clerk to cause Parcel Map 2016-01 to be recorded in the office of the Ventura County Recorder. Mr. Corrigan gave the staff report. Nick Rini, Vice President of Nearon Enterprises, representing Science Drive Holdings, LLC, described progress on the sale of this parcel, which he stated is due to close escrow very soon. MOTION: Mayor Parvin moved and Councilmember Pollock seconded a motion to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the map and the City Clerk to cause Parcel Map 2016-01 to be recorded in the office of the Ventura County Recorder. 6. CLOSED SESSION: Mr. Brown requested the Council go into closed session for discussion of Items 6.A. and 6.B. on the agenda. Mr. Corrigan and Ms. Benson left the meeting at this time. Item: 10.G. 346 Minutes of the City Council Moorpark, California Page 2 June 11, 2018 MOTION: Mayor Parvin moved and Councilmember Mikos seconded a motion to adjourn to closed session for discussion of Items 6.A. and 6.B. on the agenda. The motion carried by unanimous voice vote. The time was 6:07 p.m. A. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR (Pursuant to Section 54957.6 of the Government Code) Agency Designated Representative: Troy Brown Represented Employee Organization: Service Employees International Union, AFL-CIO, CLC, Local 721 Present in closed session were Councilmembers Mikos, Pollock, Simons, Van Dam, and Mayor Parvin; Troy Brown, City Manager; and Deborah Traffenstedt, Assistant City Manager. The Council reconvened into open session at 6:20 p.m. Mr. Brown stated Items 6.A. and 6.B. were discussed and there was no action to report. 8.
