The legislative format from the prior draft remains, and the additions, deletions, and changes by the City Council are also shown in legislative format. After the Council formally approves this document on August 20, 1997, it will be printed without the legislative format and distributed to the City Council, staff, and public. DEPARTMENTAL GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR FY 1996/97 A. Expand and encourage community involvement in establishing the general policies of the City and increase the public's understanding of local government operations. 1. Coordinate City's annual goal setting process. (CM) 2.
