Lindley, Director of Community Services Y� DATE: January 6, 1998 (City Council Meeting of January 7, 1998) SUBJECT: Consider Notice of Completion for AVRC Office Remodel Project Discussion With the adoption of the FY 1997/98 Budget, the City Council appropriated $25,000 to remodel the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center to provide additional office and counter space. The appropriation includes the purchase of specific office furniture and equipment. Then on June 4, the City Council appropriated an additional $6,000 to complete the project. The total appropriation of funds ($31,500) for this project was approved as a loan from the General Fund to the Park Improvement Fund. The contract to perform the construction work was awarded to Novus Commercial Interiors Inc. for $23,502. The remodel project is now complete, and the work was done in accordance with the requirements of the plans and specifications. The City Council is therefore being asked to accept the improvements and authorize staff to record the Notice of Completion. Direct the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the project; and 3.
